Ketamine Integration Therapy & KAP Support
Helping you prepare for treatment, integrate meaningful experiences, and create lasting psychological change.
Ketamine integration therapy helps people prepare for treatment, process meaningful ketamine experiences, and integrate new insights into everyday life through reflection, psychological growth, and lasting change.
What is Ketamine Integration Therapy?
Ketamine treatment may create shifts in perception, emotional access, memory, imagery, or self-understanding.
Ketamine integration therapy is not the ketamine treatment itself. It is the therapeutic process of helping meaningful experiences become understandable, emotionally integrated, and sustainable after treatment.
Without integration, however, even profound experiences can gradually fade into memory.
Integration therapy provides a space to reflect upon what emerged, understand its personal significance, and thoughtfully weave those insights into daily living.
My Approach
I work alongside clients receiving medically supervised ketamine treatment through licensed medical providers.
Sessions may occur before treatment to clarify intentions, during a treatment series to support ongoing processing, or afterward to help integrate emotions, imagery, body sensations, dreams, memories, and symbolic experiences. I also provide guided KAP sessions for real-time processing and/or direct support under the direction of a licensed ketamine prescriber, upon request.
My work emphasizes curiosity rather than interpretation.
Rather than assigning meaning to your experience, I help you discover the meaning that feels authentic within your own life.
When appropriate, clients may also receive a curated therapeutic music playlist designed to support their independently supervised ketamine sessions.
Important Information
This service does not include:
• ketamine prescribing
• medication management
• dosing recommendations
• medical advice

Ketamine treatment must always occur under the care of an appropriately licensed medical provider.
A Thoughtful Approach to Integration
Third Realm Integration does not prescribe, provide, administer, recommend, or source ketamine or any other controlled substance.
All ketamine treatment must be provided and managed by a licensed medical provider. I do not provide medication management, medical advice, or emergency medical support. I do not provide ongoing therapy after the conclusion of a client's last ketamine treatment unless they are psychologically ready for long-term ego integration work.
My approach to ketamine integration is rooted in the belief that the greatest value of ketamine treatment comes not only from the experience itself, but from the process of thoughtfully integrating what emerges afterward.
For this reason, my practice is best suited for clients seeking preparation for treatment, support during a defined course of care, or integration following meaningful ketamine experiences. If you are looking for ongoing support around frequent maintenance or booster treatments over an extended period, my approach may not be the best fit.
My work focuses on helping clients understand, integrate, and embody the psychological, emotional, relational, and symbolic insights that emerge after ketamine treatment.
I believe lasting transformation develops through the relationship we cultivate with our experiences, not simply through repeated altered states. Integration is the process of carrying meaningful insights into everyday life so they become sustainable changes in how you live, relate, and understand yourself.
The goal is not to return repeatedly to the experience itself, but to help what has already been revealed become an enduring part of your life.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ketamine Integration Therapy and KAP
Answers to common questions about ketamine integration therapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and working together.
Do you prescribe ketamine?
No. I do not prescribe ketamine or provide medication management. Ketamine treatment must always be provided by a licensed medical provider who determines whether treatment is appropriate and oversees all medical aspects of care.
Is ketamine integration therapy the same as ketamine treatment?
No.
Ketamine treatment refers to the medical administration of ketamine by a licensed healthcare provider.
Ketamine integration therapy focuses on what happens before and after treatment—helping you prepare for the experience, understand what emerged, and integrate those insights into lasting psychological and emotional growth.
What is the difference between ketamine integration therapy and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?
Most of my work is ketamine integration therapy, which occurs before or after medically supervised ketamine sessions.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is different. In KAP, psychotherapy occurs while a client is actively receiving ketamine under the supervision of a licensed medical prescriber. I have written about the limitations of this approach in my blog (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP): Why Talking During Treatment Can Be Counterproductive)
Although I am trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I offer KAP sessions only when specifically requested and when appropriate arrangements have been made with a licensed ketamine prescriber. My primary focus is integration: helping clients translate meaningful experiences into lasting change.
Can I work with my own ketamine provider?
Yes.
Many clients already have an established relationship with a physician or ketamine clinic. I regularly work alongside independently licensed medical providers by offering preparation and integration support while they manage all medical aspects of treatment.
I can also provide referrals to providers in your area when needed.
When should ketamine integration therapy begin?
Integration can be helpful before treatment begins, throughout a treatment series, or after ketamine sessions have been completed.
Preparation sessions help clarify intentions and establish grounding practices, while post-treatment integration helps transform meaningful experiences into sustainable psychological growth.
Post-treatment integration sessions ideally take place within 48 hours following a ketamine infusion.
Do I need to receive ketamine regularly to benefit from integration?
No.
Some clients seek support during a short course of treatment, while others continue integration after their ketamine sessions have ended. The focus is not on returning repeatedly to altered states but on helping the insights you've already gained become part of everyday life.
Can I continue working with you after my ketamine treatment ends?
Yes—if ongoing depth-oriented psychotherapy or long-term ego integration work appears clinically appropriate and we're a good fit.
Some clients complete only a handful of integration sessions, while others transition into longer-term psychotherapy focused on shadow work, attachment patterns, inner child healing, and ego integration after their ketamine treatment has concluded.
Is this service available in person?
No. I currently offer all of my services exclusively through secure virtual sessions.
Virtual sessions make it possible to receive thoughtful preparation and integration support from wherever you feel most comfortable. It also allows me to be highly intentional about the work I do. Psychotherapy services are available only to clients who are physically located in Florida, Idaho, or Arizona at the time of each session.
